Terms of Use
MTGStack is provided by Wrightserve. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.
What the app is
MTGStack helps you track a physical Magic: The Gathering collection and build decks from it. Its suggestions (deck lists, upgrades, legality checks, mana bases, synergy scores and card prices) are generated automatically and are for information only.
Always check a deck against the official rules and current banned lists before sanctioned play. Card legality changes, and the app's data is only as current as its last sync. Prices are cached estimates from public sources, not offers to sell.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep access to your email secure, since that is how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use the app to break the law, and do not attempt to interfere with the service or access other people's data.
We may suspend or remove an account that is being used abusively. You can delete yours at any time; see Delete your account.
Your content
Your collection, decks and feedback remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so far as is needed to provide the app: syncing them between your devices, and backing them up. We do not claim ownership and we do not use them for anything else.
Premium subscription
- Price: £4.99 per month, including any applicable VAT.
- Renewal: automatically, monthly, until you cancel.
- What you get: unlimited saved decks, the full list of upgrade suggestions rather than a single teaser, the cross-deck Buy List, and the Metrics dashboard. Everything driven by Magic card data (search, legality, deck building and the Tracker) is free and is not behind the subscription, including seeing which cards a deck is missing and what they cost.
- Cancelling: in the app, go to Settings → Subscription, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancel any time. Premium continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Payments: taken by Stripe. We never see your card details.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. By starting a subscription you agree that the service begins immediately, which can reduce that right. We will not be difficult about it: if you subscribe by mistake, email us within 14 days and we will refund you.
If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel rather than accept it.
Availability
We try to keep the app working but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. It depends on third-party services, including public card-data sources, that can change or go away. Most of the app keeps working offline, by design.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it, including a deck ruled illegal in a tournament or a decision made on the basis of a price estimate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
